PHILADELPHIA - A former Philadelphia police officer on trial for a deadly 2017 officer-involved shooting was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter and possession of an instrument of crime on Wednesday.The former officer, Eric Ruch Jr., was charged with third-degree murder, voluntary manslaughter and possession of an instrument of crime in the shooting death of Dennis Plowden.
