Scots super slimmer reveals how he shed six stone during lockdown

slimmer has been honoured after losing more than six stone in just over 20 weeks during lockdown. Michael Gray, from Portlethen, Aberdeenshire, could not have imagined how much more difficult his weight loss journey would get when he started it in January this year.But now he has been rewarded for his focus by his local Slimming World group, as they named him their Man of the Year 2020 following the first ever virtual competition in the organisation's 50-year history.

Cillian Murphy “sad” COVID prevented Helen McCrory from reprising ‘Peaky Blinders’ role

Cillian Murphy has said late actor Helen McCrory will be “very present” in the final season of Peaky Blinders, despite not filming any scenes.McCrory, who played Polly Gray in the BBC series, died aged 52 from cancer in April last year – when filming on the sixth season had been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.Speaking to Empire magazine, Murphy said: “What I always feel sad about is that we were about to shoot and then the pandemic happened and we had to stop. If we had shot then, Helen would’ve been in the show, and that makes me feel sad.“It’s a huge loss; it’s hard to comprehend it.
