Outlander cast pay tribute to Brian McCardie after star's 'sudden' death

Outlander star Brian McCardie died suddenly on Sunday, with his sister confirming the tragic news on social media.The Motherwell-born star's death was confirmed just weeks after his appearance in the Blood of My Blood spin-off was confirmed.

McCardie played Sir Marcus MacRannoch in an episode of Outlander and had only recently joined the cast of the Outlander prequel Blood of My Blood, in which he was cast as the chief of Clan Grant.
