Love Island's Zara Holland faces nine months' jail unless she pays Covid fine on time

Love Island star Zara Holland has been warned she could be jailed for nine months if she doesn't pay her Covid fine within seven days.The 25-year-old avoided jail time during her trial in District A magistrates' court, Barbados, on January 6, and was instead given a fine.

Holland faced up to one year's jail time, as well as a fine of £18,000, but was ultimately awarded a fine of just £4,417. The reality star was brought before the court after attempting to flee the country when her boyfriend tested positive for coronavirus.

Holland and her boyfriend Elliott Love, 30, underwent coronavirus tests upon arrival in Barbados on December 27 and were instructed to isolate at the island's Sugar Bay hotel.
