"Bedlam at the Bank" and "Dancing On My Own" will now forever be a part of the 2022 postseason with their own spot on the ring."With the electrifying postseason run that the club had, we knew we needed to design a ring that is symbolic of the galvanizing impact it had on our players, our fans and the city," Phillies Managing Partner and CEO John Middleton said. 

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Phillies will start their hunt for October baseball on Friday as they look to snap a postseason drought. The Phillies will take on the Oakland Athletics at Citizens Bank Park at 3:05 p.m. as they look to build on last season, their first winning season since 2011 that saw Bryce Harper named NL MVP. Over the offseason, the team spent $179 million on Nick Castellanos and Kyle Schwarber, surrounding reigning NL MVP Bryce Harper with two more powerful bats.  The lineup is long and strong with All-Star catcher J.T.

The teams needs a left fielder and President Dave Dombrowski said Sunday ownership hasn’t given him any limitations on spending money."I think all three are winners," Harper said during a 10-minute chat with reporters in front of his locker.

PHILADELPHIA – Dick Allen’s No. 15 was retired by the Philadelphia Phillies in a ceremony Thursday, a long overdue honor for one of the franchise’s greatest players who fought against racism during a tumultuous period with the team in the 1960s.The 78-year-old Allen thanked Phillies managing partner John Middleton, who broke from the team’s longstanding “unwritten” policy of only retiring the number of players who are in the Hall of Fame.
