Alex Reid and his girlfriend were devastated to put their IVF plans on-hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, but admit they’d rather be cautious after previously suffering miscarriages. The former cage fighter, who was previously married to Katie Price, began the in-vitro fertilisation process with girlfriend Nicola Manashe several years ago but have so far been unsuccessful in their attempts.
In February, Alex and Nikki announced they had started their fourth round of IVF but their dreams of conceiving a baby this year have been halted due to the global health crisis.
The healthcare service has put a stop to any procedures which are not deemed essential to give priority to patients battling Covid-19.
