A young Asda worker claims she was sacked 'without warning on Christmas Eve' and made to work the rest of her shift despite knowing she had no job to come back to.
Billie-Leigh Williams, 19, was left in tears after management dismissed her the day before Christmas when she was four hours into her shift.
The teenager had started work at the Tipton Superstore, in the West Midlands, stacking shelves in October and claims she was ordered to keep working until clocking off time.
Mum Kaye, 42, says her daughter's Christmas was 'ruined' by the dismissal and it has had an impact on her self-esteem, Birmingham Live reports.Kaye, from Friar Park in Wednesbury, said: "To lose her job on Christmas Eve, at 6pm, ruined our Christmas.
