Quebec Health Minister Christian Dubé on Tuesday said he is “worried” with regards to the increase in COVID-19 cases, however he is also trying to be “constructive” in recognizing how quickly changes can take place.
He said the criteria for determining the threat level under the province’s new COVID-19 alert system includes the number of cases per million residents and the number of outbreaks in the province.
Chief medical officer of health Dr. Horatio Arruda added that efforts under each alert level in the new provincial system must change if the level changes.
