New Delhi: National carrier Air India Ltd will operate 70 flights to destinations in US and Canada under the third phase of Mission Vande Bharat, between 11-30 June to repatriate Indians stranded abroad, civil aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri said in a tweet late on Monday.

India has operated a total of 501 domestic flights in one week, the civil aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri said today. At least 44,593 passengers took flights till May 31, the civil aviation minister added.

New Delhi: India will try to restart a good percentage of international passenger flights before August, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Saturday, three days after announcing resumption of domestic flights from May 25.

As the domestic flight operartion resumes from Monday, Union civil aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri said there will be no 14-day quarantine for passengers.

Air tickets will be capped between ₹2,000 and ₹18,600 in seven bands depending on flight duration for the next three months, from May 25 to August 24, the government said. Domestic flights are set to resume on Monday (May 25). The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has released the lower and upper limit and listed the seven broad bands under which the pricing for domestic flights have been categorised.
