Greta Gerwig’s Mattel doll flick starring Margot Robbie leads the film pack with nine nominations, including best motion picture – comedy or musical, while Christopher Nolan’s biopic of the father of the atomic bomb follows closely behind with eight, including best motion picture – drama.Both are expected to snag Best Picture Oscar nominations.On the TV side, HBO’s “Succession,” which aired its final season last year, is No.
1 with nine nods. And the comedies “Only Murders In The Building” and “The Bear,” both Hulu titles, are tied with five apiece.The show, which airs Sunday at 8 p.m.
ET on CBS, will be hosted by comedian Jo Koy. The starry event can also be streamed on Paramount+.The Globes make their return after a series of embarrassing shakeups over the past several years.
