The tragic last days of Grammy-award-winning Irish singer Sinead O'Connor, who sadly passed away in July last year, have been revealed. The cause of her death has now been confirmed by a coroner as natural causes.
Sinead, famous for her hit song Nothing Compares 2 U and her iconic shaved head, was found unresponsive at her home in Herne Hill, south-east London.
At the time, the Metropolitan Police said her death wasn't being treated as suspicious. On Tuesday, January 9, Southwark Coroners Court confirmed: "This is to confirm that Ms O'Connor died of natural causes. The coroner has therefore ceased their involvement in her death.
If an inquest is to be opened, the date of the brief public hearing will be provided on our website." Sinead leaves behind three children, Jake, Roisin and Yeshua.
