James Corden’s Tony winning play to be streamed on YouTube during coronavirus outbreak

James Corden and Tamsin Greig are heading back to the stage during the coronavirus outbreak (well, sort of) as part of an initiative to bring the theatre to people in self-isolation.

Back before he was cracking us up on late night TV, it’s easy to forget that James was a Broadway star, winning a Tony Award in 2012 for his performance in comedy One Man, Two Guvnors.

During its run in London’s Southbank Centre, the show was broadcast in cinemas as part of the National Theatre Live programme and with the UK population self-isolating, the good people at the NT are providing an encore of James’ performance.

Beginning with One Man, Two Guvnors on 2 April, a different full-length play will be broadcast on YouTube every Thursday, allowing theatre
