Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich have officially decided to split, after months of speculation. The pair announced that they have chosen to end their nearly three-year marriage after spending weeks quarantining in separate states.

In a statement to US Weekly, they explained: ‘We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate. ‘We share an abundance of love and respect for one another and will continue to lead with our hearts from that place.’ They continued: ‘We kindly request your compassion and respect for our privacy moving forward.’ The 31-year-old dancer has been staying at her California home amid the coronavirus pandemic, while Brooks chose to go to Idaho.
