Rita Wilson has said she suffered several side-effects when she was given an anti-malaria drug during her coronavirus battle. The actress and her husband Tom Hanks publicly stated they tested positive for Covid-19 while in Australia working on Tom’s movie in an Instagram post.
Speaking on The Talk with Gayle King, the 63-year-old said she suffered from ‘extreme side effects’ and felt ‘completely nauseous’ from the drug chloroquine. ‘My muscles felt very weak,’ she said.
However, Wilson is not sure what impact it had on her, admitting: ‘I can only tell you that I don’t know if the drug worked or if it was just time for my fever to break, but my fever did break. ‘I think people have to be very considerate about that drug.
