Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have recovered after falling ill with Coronavirus in Australia and now they are donating their blood to see if they can help scientists develop a vaccine to save lives.
The Toy Story legend tested positive in March while he was Down Under filming with director Baz Luhrmann for the new Elvis Presley biopic.
Both stayed in the country until their isolation was complete before flying back to the US. Tom and Rita have now been told that they have built up some immunity to the virus and their blood could help scientist learn more about the disease and help them discover a vaccine.
