COVID-19: 105 new cases in London-Middlesex; 30 in Elgin Oxford
The Middlesex-London region has surpassed the 9,000 COVID-19 case mark with the latest update from health officials.On Friday, the Middlesex-London Health Unit reported 105 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total case count to 9,007.At least 193 deaths have been reported to date, most recently on Wednesday.As of Friday, at least 1,175 cases remain active in the region.Since the month began, London and Middlesex has recorded at least 1,224 cases. A record 176 cases were reported on Wednesday by the health unit.The local seven-day rolling case average stands at 133 as of Thursday.The local test positivity rate stood at 7.7 per cent as of April 4, up from 5.9 the week prior, according to the most recent figures.
