PHILADELPHIA - Authorities are searching for a masked gunman who police say shot three people Wednesday night in Philadelphia. Officer from the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the area of Aramingo Avenue and Ann Street around 9:45 p.m. for reports of a shooting. Police Captain John Walker told reporters that investigators believe a masked man got out of a light colored SUV and approached a group standing on the roadside. After a brief conversation, Walker said the gunman opened fire striking two men and a woman.A 46-year-old man was struck in the chest and a woman was hit in the side, according to police.

PHILADELPHIA - Authorities are still searching for the driver who lead police on a lengthy pursuit Monday that started in Philadelphia and ended in Delaware County. Police say the chase started just before 9 p.m. near Torresdale Avenue when an officer saw an older model pickup truck with no back tire traveling in the wrong direction on a one-way road. Police say the driver took off when the officer tried to make a traffic stop and soon enough garnered the attention of surrounding officers.

PHOENIX - Police say 29 men were arrested in connection to an undercover operation targeting child sex crimes and human trafficking in Arizona."Operation April's Fools" resulted in the arrest of suspects soliciting various sex acts, the Phoenix Police Department said on May 10."We had detectives placing ads, posing as underage victims that you could come to solicit a sex act from," explained Phoenix Police Sgt. PHILADELPHIA - Police say they are searching for two suspects wanted in connection with two separate robberies that both occurred at a South Philadelphia 7-Eleven. On April 27 at around 1:27 a.m., police say two suspects were captured on surveillance video entering the 7-Eleven on South 10th Street. Authorities say the first suspect went behind the counter and demanded the money while threatening the store employees with a hammer. Police in Philadelphia are investigating after multiple people were injured in a shooting in Kensington on Tuesday afternoon.  PHILADELPHIA - Four people, including two teenagers, are in the hospital after a shooting in Kensington late Tuesday morning. The shooting occurred on the 800 block of East Allegheny Avenue just before noon.Officers responded to the scene and found four people suffering from gunshot wounds. All four were taken to Temple University Hospital.Two of the victims, an 18-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, are in critical condition after both were shot in the upper body. A 16-year-old girl is stable after suffering a graze wound to the arm.

PHILADELPHIA - Three people are dead after a car crashed into a SEPTA station in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood, authorities say. Police say a car traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a turnstile, pedestrians and then the Allegheny Avenue SEPTA station.  Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small says the crash happened around 2:45 a.m. when an officer on detail at Kensington Avenue and Allegheny Avenue saw a Honda Pilot traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer heard the vehicle first and believes it was "easily going 100 miles per hour," Small says. Authorities say the car jumped the curb and hit a metal turnstile, hit three pedestrians standing on the pavement and then struck the Allegheny Avenue SEPTA station. Small says the crash was "really gruesome" as one of the victims was decapitated and their body was dismembered and burned due to a car fire that started after the crash. The body of another victim believed to be a female was severely mangled and crushed, according to police.

PHILADELPHIA - Police in Philadelphia are trying to identify a suspect wanted in connection with multiple sexual assaults across the city. According to police, the first incident happened on March 15 at 5:00 a.m.Authorities say a 35-year-old woman was walking in the area of Whitaker Avenue and Erie Avenue in North Philadelphia. A man in a black-colored car drove the victim to a remote area, showed a handgun and then sexually assaulted her, police say. Weeks later on April 5 at 5:15 a.m., a 28-year-old woman was leaving a convenience store at 3505 Kensington Avenue when she was approached by a man in a dark gray Dodge Charger with a covered tag, police say. According to authorities, the suspect forced her into his car, drove to the area of 4000 Orchard Street in Frankford and sexually assaulted her before letting her out on Torresdale Avenue. Police say another assault happened on April 21 at 1:00 a.m. in the area of Kensington Avenue and Huntingdon Street in Kensington when a 29-year-old woman was approached by a man in a silver sedan offering a ride, authorities say. The woman accepted and the suspect showed a gun, forced the woman into the back seat and sexually assaulted her in the area of 2600 Kensington Avenue, according to officials. Police say he also stole her iPhone 11 before dropping her off on Broad Street. Authorities are searching for a charcoal gray Dodge Charger four-door sedan made between 2016 and 2020.
