American actor Allen Garfield has died this week at the age of 80 after contracting deadly coronavirus. The star of Beverly Hills Cop II and The Conversation was found dead after picking up the infection at his nursing home.
His sister Lois Goorwitz confirmed the sad news and explained his death was due to complications from COVID-19. Allen had been living at the Motion Picture Television Fund Home – a care home for retired actors - at the time of his death.
