Asda land ‘loan’ signing as Elgin City’s Robbie Hope helps customers with pandemic

Asda have taken full advantage of the coronavirus pandemic to land a new signing - Elgin City academy manager Robbie Hope. With no football taking place, many footballers have been left scratching their heads, but not the man in charge of youth teams at Borough Briggs.

Hope usually spends his Saturday afternoon’s yelling on the sidelines at aspiring youngsters, but having been furloughed by Elgin City, he has instead spent his last two weekends delivering food orders in the north of Scotland.
