Brentford insist it is business as usual as they prepare to face a Covid-hit Manchester United on Tuesday. A small number of United players and staff recorded positive Covid results on Sunday following lateral flow tests after the win at Norwich.

Those who tested positive were sent home, with the squad due at Carrington later to train ahead of travelling to Brentford for Tuesday's Premier League game.

Brentford have also been hit by Covid with striker Ivan Toney and defender Ethan Pinnock missing games after positive test results.

Speaking to reporters on Monday morning, Bees manager Thomas Frank says planning for the visit of United has not changed. "We are planning to play the game," Frank said. "That's what we are focusing on.
