A son has paid tribute to his care worker mum who was found dead at her home. Jeanette McKenna, 53, died just days after a video of her dancing with a 102-year-old care home resident went viral.
She passed away on May 7 at her home in Barrhead, Scotland. It is currently not known how she died. Jeanette was described as an “all round amazing woman” by those who worked with her at the Whitecraigs Care Home in Thornliebank near Glasgow, where she worked for 10 years, reports the Daily Record.
Her son Alex Fernie wrote an emotional public post describing his mum as “selfless” and urging everyone to take coronavirus seriously.
