PAUL KELLY: Good afternoon. Paul Kelly here in Canberra with the coronavirus update. I think, as I usually do at the start of these press conferences, just to give the context - I think that's really important - we need to remember the difference that we are in in Australia compared with the rest of the world.
So, in the last 24 hours, across the world, 697,000 cases, recognising that in many countries, we don't know how many cases there are, but they're the ones that are recorded officially.
And almost 11,000 deaths in the world in the last 24 hours. The situation here in Australia, again, a day of community transmission and no deaths.
