A 12-year-old with no pre-existing medical conditions is fighting for life on a ventilator after contracting coronavirus. The girl, who has been named only as Emma, was diagnosed with pneumonia on March 15 and tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday night.

She is currently in a stable condition in isolation at Children's Healthcare of Atalanta-Scottish Rite Hospital in the US. However, Emma requires a ventilator to breath for her after her lungs became badly affected.
