Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were forced to explain why it appeared to be so busy in the 'window' behind them amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Some This Morning viewers fumed after seeing that a lot of people still seemed to be walking down the river, disregarding social distancing.
However Phil and Holly addressed that the window behind them wasn't real and was actually a screen with a pre-recorded background from two years ago.
Phil said: "People saying, 'We're all isolating, we're all looking after ourselves and there's so much traffic going down the South Bank and people are still out walking." Holly added: "And the boats!" He continued: "We should say that when we were on the South Bank that was our view.
