Coronavirus: Nova Scotia begins administering vaccine to health-care workers

With 55 active COVID-19 cases in Nova Scotia as of Dec. 16, Premier Stephen McNeil said Wednesday marked a “major step in fighting the virus head-on,” as the first doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine were administered earlier in the day to health-care workers on the front lines of the pandemic.
