BENGALURU: One person, who tested positive for COVID-19, has died in Tumakuru, Karnataka, according to the district administration.
The health department is yet to confirm if the patient died of Covid-19 infection. If it is confirmed that the person succumbed to COVID-19, the state's tally will rise to three. "He was kept in an isolation ward from 24 March and we sent his samples for testing the same day," K.
Rakesh Kumar, district collector of Tumakuru said on Friday. The deceased does not have any history of travel abroad, but had visited Delhi on 5 March by train and returned to Bengaluru in the early hours of 14 March.
