Dancing with the Stars' Jeannie Mai has been forced to drop out of this year's series after being hospitalised with a potentially life-threatening condition.
According to several US publications, the 41-year-old – who is best known for co-hosting talk show The Real outside of the competition – has been diagnosed with epiglottitis, an inflammatory condition that affects the airways."It saddens me that I will not be able to continue with the competition on DWTS," Mai told ET Canada after the show broke the news on social media.
