Designated Survivor and Narcos actor Adan Canto dies aged 42

Designated Survivor and Narcos star Adan Canto has sadly died at the age of 42 following a private battle with appendiceal cancer, his agent has confirmed.

The renowned Mexican actor, who originally started out as a singer in Mexico City before finding Hollywood fame sadly passed away on Monday, reports Deadline.

In a statement following his death, his representatives at UTA, Entertainment360 and Viewpoint said: “Adan had a depth of spirit that few truly knew.Those who glimpsed it were changed forever,” They then added: “He will be greatly missed by so many.” He leaves behind his wife Stephanie Ann Canto, and their two young children, Roman Alder, 3 and Eve Josephine, 1.

The much loved actor most recently starred in Fox’s drama series The Cleaning Lady where he played the role of the male lead for the first two seasons.
