MUMBAI: Companies, especially in technology and telecom sectors, have been turning to digital or e-onboarding to bring new employees on board since the country went into a lockdown.
Many of these programmes for freshers and interns are directed at providing innovative business continuity solutions during the lockdown.
The shift has been rather sudden for organisations and the process is still being streamlined. Not surprisingly, permanent employees are being given preference in this process.
