Nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her role as Catherine the Great in The Great, Fanning hit the red carpet wearing a look fit for a queen.She dipped into the fashion archives for the occasion, wearing a vintage Pierre Balmain off-white strapless ballgown with a large bow detail across the bodice.

Matching pointed-toe pumps, Cartier jewelry, and a sleek updo completed the look.This year marks the third time Fanning is nominated for a Golden Globe after earning nods in 2021 and 2022 for the same role.

However, this is the first time she's actually attended the show; in 2021 it was held remotely due to the pandemic, and in 2022, it was not telecast after backlash against the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.That being said, it's not the first time she's looked perfect for the show.
