Former Tory MP Edwina Currie has caused a ruckus by mistaking an old WWE clip for panic shoppers in Asda. It came after a wrestling fan tweeted a classic clip of Stone Cold Steve Austin and Booker T wrestling through a supermarket, jokingly linking it to panic shoppers amid the coronavirus crisis.
The video was captioned, "Disgusting scenes in Asda Havant today when it should have been a time for the elderly and NHS staff, please retweet to name and shame..." Ms Currie, 73, fell for the obvious gaff.
