A farmer fed up with people ignoring lockdown rules and heading to the countryside has plastered signs on his land reading 'non-locals go home'.
Reid Nutter, whose family own a farm in Roughlee, near Pendle Hill, Lancashire, spent the weekend placing notices on his land in an attempt to 'close the countryside'.
But he said some people have been ignoring them or tearing the signs down. By the time the Prime Minister announced lock down on Monday night, the dedicated social-distancer was already working on six more signs in a bid to halt the spread of the virus and protect elderly locals.
