First twins born with Covid-19 returned home for Christmas with relieved family

Five-month-old tots Kenna and Lissa Curtis are believed to be the first in the country born with Covid-19, and their mum Sarah said she feels "blessed" as they prepare to celebrate the festivities at home together.They were born 10 weeks early on July 3 weighing just 3lbs each and tested positive for the virus soon afterwards.The "brilliant, beautiful and healthy" babies are now easing into life at their home in Distington, Cumbria.

Sarah told Metro : "I was genuinely so afraid that I was going to lose them - it was so terrifying and paralysing. "I could have lose them, I could have died there in the hospital - but we're here now looking forward to celebrating.
