ITV Masked Singer fans fuming as star 'drops spoiler revealing celeb contestant'

Fans of The Masked Singer are convinced that host of The One Show, Lauren Laverne and Roman Kemp, have let slip a massive spoiler for the newest season of the ITV singing show.

During last night's episode (Thursday 4 January) show, radio DJ Lauren was chatting to The Masked Singer's judge Davina McCall about the upcoming characters on this season, including Air Fryer, Owl, Piranha, Bubble Tea, Chicken Caesar and Eiffel Tower.

Lauren then revealed,:"A former Doctor Who will be making an appearance on The Masked Singer this season." However, this teaser on what viewers could expect meant they rushed to social media with their theories on who it could be.

With many believing that Lauren and co-host Roman had given up one of the character's identity, one wrote on Twitter: "And did you just give away that one of the Masked Singers is a former Doctor Who?
