GOOD Morning Britain's Kate Garraway has said husband Derek has legs like "sticks" after coronavirus ravaged his body. The 53-year-old star revealed how her husband, who has been in intensive care for a year, now has no muscle left.

Kate was speaking ahead of her ITV documentary Finding Derek airing tomorrow night. She told the Mirror: "He has changed. Derek is physically very affected. "His legs are like sticks, he has no muscle left.

In terms of his movement, he’s physically affected.” Kate, who shares children Darcey, 15, and Billy, 11, with Derek added that his recovery has slipped back in recent months.

She said things have regressed a little bit this year since January, but how much that is to do with the restrictions of not being.
