David Ross set up Stanelydrive Chauffeur Services four years ago and enjoys driving tourists – and the odd celebrity – around Scotland when they arrive at Glasgow Airport.Due to the coronavirus lockdown all his business dried up so he decided to volunteer his services Paisley’s Accord Hospice, which was delighted to accept. So for the past few months, he’s been collecting and driving patients to the Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow to help them continue their treatment.
David said: “Accord Hospice has a lot of volunteers but a lot of them had to self-isolate because of their age. My business has shut down but rather than sit about feeling sorry for myself, I got in touch with them to see if I could help. “I’ve got a big car so we’re easily.
