West Lothian star Lewis Capaldi has opened up about his mental health struggles and how he has come to terms with his meteoric rise to fame. The down-to-earth singer/songwriter said he has mum and dad Carol and dad Mark, whom he still shares a home with, to thank for keeping him grounded after his 2018 hit ‘Someone You Loved’ spent seven weeks at the top of the charts. The single broke UK chart records and kept him in the top 10 for longer than any other British act in history. But the humble Whitburn star said he “didn’t deserve the success” and spoke about his struggles with anxiety and panic attacks. He told the Sunday Mirror: “That will never happen again in my career, I can tell you that now.“I don’t deserve to have a No 1 for seven weeks.
