1-1 draw with Tottenham as they produced a far improved second half display to fight back from a goal down. After Steven Bergwijn opened the scoring for Spurs, United levelled through a Fernandes penalty - which was won by Pogba, who induced a foul from Eric Dier.
It was just rewards for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his side, who introduced Pogba and Mason Greenwood to great effect after the hour mark.
Fernandes spoke to Sky Sports after the game and revealed how he'd been getting along with Pogba in United training. "We're training hard in the past weeks and when we were in groups, I was in a group with Paul," revealed Fernandes. "To find a connection is easier, but I find a good connection with everyone.
