Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Harry Kane will start their Premier League clash with Manchester United on Friday night.

After the coronavirus crisis brought a temporary halt to the season in March, Spurs finally return to action with a tricky home encounter against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Red Devils.

And Kane, undoubtedly the main beneficiary of the postponed season, is now fully fit. The England captain has been out since New Year's Day, having undergone surgery on a hamstring injury.

While his recovery was going well, he was not due to return until late April, meaning he would not have been fully fit for the end of the campaign and would have had very little football going into Euro 2020.
