As the nation continues to be gripped by ITV’s latest drama Mr.Bates vs The Post Office, more and more people have been discovering the truth about the Horizon post office scandal which saw hundreds of sub-postmasters and mistresses falsely accused and charged with stealing money due to a computer error throughout the 00s.
Bringing the stories to life is a star studded cast, including former Emmerdale and Downton Abbey actress Amy Nuttall who has been capturing the hearts of viewers as Lisa, the wife of Lee Castleston - one of the post-masters who faced criminal charges and huge financial losses as a result of the Horizon scandal.
