An NHS worker has been stabbed to death by an evil gang of masked attackers just days after his dad died with coronavirus. David Gomoh, 24, was knifed in Freemasons Road, Newham in east London, shortly before 10.30pm on Sunday.
He was on the phone at the time and police say there is no obvious motive for the attack. Tragically, his family were already mourning after his dad died from an illness linked to Covid-19, with the funeral due to be held on Wednesday.
Marketing graduate Mr Gomoh worked for the NHS and his mother is a nurse. An appeal has been set up on JustGiving to help Marian Gomoh, the labour ward matron at Newham University Hospital, with funeral costs.
