Two NHS workers have pulled their wedding forward to help tackle coronavirus, after hopes of a summer wedding became unlikely in the midst of the pandemic.
Dominique Thompson and Simon Bradley's wedding took place making them one of the first to wed under the new legislation. This meant only two guests could attend and Dominique's parents, who are both over 70 and high risk, were not allowed to be present.
The couple had been together for 13 years and were finally ready to say ‘I do’. However the rise of coronavirus has resulted in former GP and mental health expert Dominique being called back to active duty with the NHS.
