A drone is flown for recreational purposes (Photo by Bruce Bennett/Getty Images) CRANSTON, R.I. - Police in Rhode Island arrested a man they say used a drone to peer at a woman through her bathroom window.According to the Cranston Police Department, officers responded the night of June 21 to a woman who said she had just gotten home from work and was about to take a shower when she heard a buzzing noise.She went into the backyard to see if the noise was linked to her swimming pool and found a drone hovering outside her bathroom window, police said.READ MORE: Former Disney World employee arrested for recording 'upskirt' videos of women around park for years: DeputiesWhen she approached the drone, it flew away from her, then hit a branch and fell to the ground. The woman grabbed the drone before it took off and dunked it in her pool to disable it.Investigators said the drone belonged to Christopher Jones, a convicted sex offender.

CDC adds 15 more destinations to ‘high risk’ travel list

ATLANTA - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has added a number of places to an advisory list that warns against travel due to the continuing spread of the novel coronavirus and its contagious omicron variant.According to the CDC, 15 new destinations were cited Monday as a level four — meaning "very high risk" — for Americans. Those cities include Columbia, Costa Rica, Fiji, Jamaica, Kuwait, Mongolia, Peru, Romania, Saint Martin, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates and the Dominican Republic. Countries are given a "Level 4" designation when more than 500 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents are registered in the past 28 days.Travel to the 15 new destinations has been discouraged by the health agency. Those who must travel to these destinations are encouraged to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to their trip."Do not travel internationally until you are fully vaccinated," the advisory said.
