Connor Ball's secret health battle - breathing struggle to severe panic attacks
Connor Ball has been impressing viewers across the country with his amazing skating capability on ITV's Dancing On Ice.Wowing the judges week on week with his courageous dance moves and his willingness to push himself further, the 25-year-old musician has certainly earned his place in this year's competition. But although he has gained legions of fans from his singing career, and his presence on Dancing on Ice, Connor - who makes up one-fourth of The Vamps- has previously battled with panic attacks, depression and generalised anxiety order.Daily Star has taken a deeper look inside the star's health battle and how he has learnt to overcome it.In 2018, Connor appeared on ITV's This Morning and spoke to therapists Nik and Eva Speakman regarding his crippling fear of touring.Speaking openly to presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Connor revealed: "I suffer with generalised anxiety order, panic attacks and depression as well."In the band, it has affected me because I don’t go to as many things as I would like to or should do. I would like to be going out and seeing more people."When the TV therapists dug a bit deeper, it became evident that the musician felt uneasy when he had to travel to different countries to tour and the problems derived from when he was a lot younger.Talking about a terrifying incident that happened to him in Greece, he recalled: "I remember when we were on holiday and I had to swim under a big rock to get to a beach and I got stuck and I was like ‘I am not going to be able to breathe'."He also spoke candidly about an experience that left him shaken when he was six years old.The star continued: "When I was six I was in Thailand and there were a load of monkey nuts on the table.

Phillip Schofield has issued a major health update as he teased his return to This Morning. The 59-year-old presenter tested positive for coronavirus last week and was forced to self-isolate, leading to chaos on two of ITV's biggest shows.Phil has been forced to sit out on his scheduled This Morning appearances since last Monday, and was once again replaced by Alison Hammond on today's show.He was also absent from presenting Dancing on Ice over the weekend, with Stephen Mulhern joining Holly Willoughby in his place. However, it looks like his self-isolation may have finally reached its end.Posting to his Instagram stories on Monday evening, Phil shared a photo of a negative lateral flow test alongside the caption: "Oh hello!! This is getting so bloody dull now." He later added: "I am seriously going out after this."Phil's latest negative lateral flow test means the presenter could return to This Morning as early as tomorrow. The presenter has yet to reunite onscreen with his regular co-host Holly Willoughby, who returned to This Morning last Thursday after taking a lengthy break.Holly had been filming forthcoming BBC reality series Superstar Survival alongside Lee Mack and Wim Hof.On her absence, she said: "I was in Northern Italy up in the Alps

Phillip Schofield apologises to Dancing on Ice co-stars in emotional Covid battle update
Phillip Schofield, 59, has revealed he’s tried everything to be able to make it to host Dancing on Ice alongside co-star Holly Willoughby, 40, in an emotional Instagram post this morning. The presenter was struck down with Covid earlier this week, meaning he had to pull out of fronting This Morning at the last minute.Phillip was hoping he’d be given the all clear just in time to host Sunday's edition of Dancing on Ice.However, the star has taken to social media to inform his three million followers that despite doing two lateral flow tests “to be absolutely sure”, the results on both have sadly come back positive.Taking a picture of the tests resting on a granite worktop, Phillip wrote today: “Did two tests to be absolutely sure (crying face emoji).”The ITV favourite then took the opportunity to wish his colleague Stephen Mulhern good luck as he steps in to replace him.“Sorry @dancingonice Have an amazing show @stephenmulhern it’s SO much fun x @hollywilloughby.”A spokesperson for Dancing on Ice commented on the news shortly after Phillip’s tearful post. They said: “Sunday's episode of Dancing on Ice will be hosted by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern while Phillip Schofield continues to self-isolate."A source also told The Mirror of Phillip’s replacement: "Phil is off recovering, Stephen was delighted to be asked to step in to fill his shoes and present alongside Holly."He gets on with everyone so bosses are more than happy for him to step up. “Everyone's wishing Phil a quick recovery and hoping to see him back in his rightful place later this month.”Phillip confirmed he had tested positive for Covid after a busy time last weekend. He had been out and about attending the theatre alongside his estranged wife Stephanie
