Piers Morgan wants Good Morning Britain’s new Christmas Day show to be up there with the Queen’s speech as a festive fixture.

The presenter, 25, said: “I love Christmas and obviously this year is going to be a bit different given the Covid situation. “So it will be nice to bring a bit of cheer, especially to those who may be on their own. “Like a turkey, the Queen and James Corden, it’s great to finally be part of the nation’s big festive celebrations. "I can confidently predict a lot of festive silliness, some great guests, and a tear or two.” Morgan also told how he and Susanna Reid, 50, have become tighter as a presenting duo after holding the Government to account over its handling of the pandemic this year.
