Police seized more than £12,000 worth of heroin and cocaine in a daylight raid in a Dundee housing estate on Monday. Two men, aged 18 and 24, were arrested following the recovery of the haul in the Arklay Terrace area of the city at around 4pm on May 11.
As well as the Class A drugs, cops found a four-figure sum of cash at the same time. Chief Inspector David McIntosh, Local Area Commander for Dundee, said: “Drug misuse brings nothing but misery to our communities and I want to reassure the people in Dundee and wider Tayside area that we will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from the community."CI McIntosh added that officers are continuing to prioritise the eradication of drugs
