coronavirus - have written to police in Durham and London urging them to investigate Dominic Cummings. They want to know whether Boris Johnson’s right-hand man breached coronavirus lockdown laws on his trip to the North East of England at the height of the pandemic in April, the Mirror reports.
They have urged The Metropolitan Police and Durham Police to launch an inquiry into claims Cummings flouted regulations by leaving his home “without reasonable excuse” while family members showed symptoms.They have also sent a letter to the Crown Prosecution Service asking it to play a “proactive role” in considering relevant evidence.Nicola Sturgeon responded to news of Cummings’ trip north from London.
