Rita Ora and Live Aid founder Sir Bob Geldof have banded together in the fight against Covid-19. To raise awareness and funds for the fight against coronavirus, the pair have designed an emblem for the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations.
The emblem – which consists of a germ inside a peace symbol – will be used to promote and give a louder voice to the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund, which was set up by the WHO and UN to help those most affected by the ongoing pandemic.
Rita explained in a press release that she reached out to the Live Aid hero for advice on how best to make a difference, who came with the idea for the emblem.
