Former EastEnders actor Ross Kemp has come under fire for visiting an intensive care unit treating coronavirus patients with a camera crew.
The investigative journalist posted a video of himself wearing a PPE mask at the hospital for his new documentary Ross Kemp: On the NHS Frontline about the heroic efforts of NHS workers during the pandemic.
And he reassured people that they hadn't depleted the NHS stock of personal protective equipment. "I’ve just been fitted for PPE and we’re about to go into an intensive care unit at Milton Keynes Hospital to witness the incredible efforts of medics treating Covid 19 patients," he explained alongside the clip shared on Twitter. "Please note we won’t be depleting the hospital’s PPE stock #COVID19
