A schoolboy was rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle after class. The 11-year-old was injured during the incident in Glasgow.He was struck in the city's Knightswood area on Tuesday afternoon, after lessons had finished for the day.

The incident took place at around 3.10pm.Emergency services raced to Kirkton Avenue following the incident, with both police and paramedics in attendance at the scene.

Glasgow Live reports at least three police cars and an ambulance were pictured at the scene, and that the 11-year-old boy in question was taken to hospital for treatment.
